Heaven Lee Visit

Two weeks ago, Kristie, our very own Heaven Lee, came to visit us from Sacramento and spent two fantastic days with us. She and I had breakfasts outside on our patio, cappuccinos and ice cream at our favorite Italian gelateria and shopped till we dropped (actually, didn't find and buy anything) on Robertson in Beverly Hills, among Lindsay, Paris and Nicole clones.
It was so much fun to have her here. That Saturday we had a full picnic with sandwishes, cookies, fruits, etc on La Piedra in Malibu, a beautiful beach right next to El Matador, where a few years ago we shot the very first episode of The Spy Who Came From Heaven. I so wanted to swim, but there were to many rocks in the water and surrounding the beach, that I was affraid the waves would hit me against them. I tried anyway. Suddenly, I realized that my wedding ring had slipped off my finger. Gone! In the ocean! I panicked. I called Mark and Kristie who started looking in the water but with no success. The waves were so strong that the sand kept being moved around: it was impossible to see anything! Mark was already saying that we were going to have to go back to Tiffany's and get a new ring, when I suddenly had this force telling me to move this one particular rock in the water. I did. And there, among the shells, sea weeds and little fish, was my ring, glittering in the cold water of the Pacific Ocean. Talk about finding a needle in a hay stack! This was a freakin' ring in an ocean!!!! That's when Kristie told me again what she's always been telling me, that I'm the luckiest person in the world. Nothing bad ever happens to me and if it does, a miracle always comes along! I'm ready for my unknown scary future, but I know it will be a success, 'cause I'm the luckiest person in the world!
