The Premiere Screening

I just got back from the premiere screening for 'Gone' and 'And Vice Versa', which was organized by the Belgian Consulate in Los Angeles and which took place at the Goethe Institut. The event was a great success. Lots of people showed up and the movies looked amazing on the big screen. It was fun and exciting to see 'Gone' with an audience for the first time. The reactions were exactly what I was hoping for. Where I wanted them to laugh they laughed, where I wanted them to be shocked and surprised they were and where I wanted them to feel sad for the lead character, well, I could feel their compassion as well!!!
All the actors, except for two, were there: Barbara, Tim, Carla, Trish, Jamie, Doug, Grace, Staas, ... Sadly enough, none of the crew members were there, except for my good friend Nancy, who was the best script supervisor I ever had.
The general consul of Belgium, Roland DeLanghe, gave a great introduction and the Q&A afterwards was a lot of fun as well.
Some one asked about doing a feature film and I told the audience about the three ideas I was working on. While doing it, I suddenly realized that my ideas were actually very good! Am I ready for the feature-length-movie-making-adventure? You bet ya!

Enjoy!
